How much dust should you give with a Gift?

How much dust should you give with a Gift?

Seems that on our back porch there's a string art picture of a sailboat that a shirt-tail relation's father made, a long time ago. Tommy knew whose it was and who made it, and he used to tell me. But I never paid him any mind about it and now all I know is the name of the folks. I'll get their addreess and pack it up, and send it to them, since it was his father who made it. Tommy did tell me that the father and this man who I'm going to send it to were on the outs. So I guess it'll make him happy. I don't care, really. I need to get rid of all this stuff.

It's big and dusty. Have you ever tried to dust string art? It's all pins and string. And this one is a sailboat on a black velvety background. It's nearly all dust now. Tommy wanted it on the wall all those years and he told me he'd dust it. Never did, did he?

So now I have to send it to these people. Should I try to dust it first?

Guess I'll take it outside and whack it a few times on the stone ledge out front. Maybe that'll help.

  • Ha, ha! String art -- maybe if you use a hair dryer on it? Just blow the dust off?

  • Maybe a can of compressed air for cleaning computer keyboards might work too.

  • Compressed air! Yes! It would be a tighter focus, not sending air all over the place....! thank you! I wonder how we know which reply is for whom? Just by context?

  • Does the recipient have allergies? ;)
